Show Campers are serious riders, aged 11 to 17 who have at least one full year of rated show, "B", "A", or "AA" experience.
Hunter/Jumper Show Camper, Session 1 Fills Quickly!
Led by Grier School varsity riding coach/trainer Emily Zientek, the show camper program is specifically designed for girls that want to enjoy the camp experience without giving up the time in the show ring. Campers participate in "AA" "A" or "B" rated shows during each session, and enjoy camp while they are not competing.
Campers enrolled in the show camper program must bring their own horse to camp or lease a horse from the Grier School. Lease arrangements must take place prior to the beginning of camp, preferably by May 1st. For more information on lease agreements, contact the camp director, Helen, at

. Show Campers participate in regional "AA" "A" or "B" rated horse shows while they attend Grier Summer. Horse show costs are included in the Show Camper registration fee.

When not at horse shows, Show Campers participate in all the camp activities. As with all other Allegheny Riding Camp riders, they have a three-hour session (two activity periods) with the trainer, and have two other activity periods to choose whatever they would like to do, arts, pool games, or outdoor sports.
