Grier Summer is proud of its outstanding Musical Theatre Program! The Intensive Musical Theatre Program will be available for the summer of 2010, second session. The ever popular Grier Summer Players will be available for campers both regular sessions and is required for Junior Camp.
Grier Summer Players
Summer campers can choose to participate with the Grier Summer Players (GSP) for one or even two of their activity periods. Each activity period in GSP is treated as a rehearsal. Students play theater games, act, sing and dance. Each camper in GSP learns and performs two large ensemble Broadway tunes with singing and dancing and can choose an additional dance number or acting scene. At the end of camp, GSP presents a performance for friends and families. Last summer's performance included pieces from Anything Goes, The Rugrats Movie, Suessical the Musical, Guys & Dolls, Miss Liberty, The Sound of Music and Chicago!

Intensive Musical Theatre
Grier Summer has added a program for campers who love musical theatre. In this program, students will work together for three activity periods a day to produce a musical production. Musical Theatre Intensive will only be offered during the second summer session.
Interested campers will be asked to audition to assist the director in selecting a musical production for the program. Auditions can be "live" using a telephone! Or taped, mail, or emailed. Campers will be asked to audition two contrasting musical theatre songs of their choice. Questions about the new Musical Theatre Intensive can be sent to
