From points SOUTH, Interstate 99 comes all the way to Tyrone so there is uninterrupted interstate highway access from the major cities to the South of the school. (Baltimore, Washington, Columbus)
From points WEST, Rt. 22 from Pittsburgh has been improved as have the Rts. 322 and 350 which provide access from points west off of Interstate 80. (Cleveland, Youngstown, Detroit, Chicago)
From points NORTH and EAST, Rt. 220 and Interstate 80 provide quite good connections. (Upstate New York, New York City, New Jersey)

By Plane

Altoona Airport (AOO) provides connections from Pittsburgh.
State College Airport (SCE) is served by several major airline carriers. Flights connect through Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Washington (Dulles), Cincinnati and Detroit. This is the recommended airport for service to Grier Summer.
